End User Licence Agreement
Last updated 10 October 2026
Agreement
This End User Licence Agreement (“EULA”) is between you and Rora Labs Ltd (trading as RoraLabs), a company registered in England & Wales, company number 17174536, registered office Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7DE, England. ICO registration ZC152425. (“RoraLabs”) and governs your use of the Vigil software and related services. If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not install or use Vigil.
Licence
RoraLabs grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Vigil on the number of devices covered by your plan, for your internal IT-support purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer (except as the law permits), sublicense or resell Vigil, or use it to provide a competing service.
How Vigil acts
Vigil assesses routine Windows issues and may take approved actions on your devices. It is designed to act only within the approved scope you configure and to stop when it cannot identify an approved route. You are responsible for configuring that scope, for supervising its use, and for having authority to administer the devices on which you install it. Vigil is an assistance tool, not a substitute for professional judgement; outputs generated by AI may be wrong.
Plans, payment and cancellation
Paid plans are sold through Paddle, our Merchant of Record, on the prices shown at purchase. Consumers have a 14-day right to cancel digital content under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013; if you ask for immediate access you acknowledge that the right to cancel is lost once the service has been fully provided, and that for a partly used period we may deduct a proportionate amount. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and access continues to the end of the paid period.
Data protection
Our Privacy Policy applies. Organisations using Vigil to manage endpoints are controllers of that data; our DPA forms part of this EULA for those customers.
Updates and availability
We may update Vigil, including automatically, to fix defects and security issues. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Warranty and liability
Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any statutory right that cannot be excluded (including consumer rights). Otherwise, Vigil is provided “as is”, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid in the previous 12 months (for business customers) and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data or profit.
Termination
You may stop using Vigil at any time. We may suspend or terminate your licence for material breach. On termination you must uninstall Vigil.
Law
Governed by the law of England & Wales; the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction (consumers keep any mandatory rights in their home country).
